Overview
Agadir is a city on the southern Atlantic coast of Morocco, in the foothills of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. It is known for its golf courses, long beaches and seaside restaurants and cafés. A ruined Kasbah overlooks the city from a nearby hill. Agadir has a beautiful medina, museums, markets, including a bird market, and other places to visit.

Itinerary
Start your journey from Agadir early in the morning. Travel through Taroudant, known as "Little
Marrakech" for its striking red ramparts, then continue to Taliouine, renowned for its saffron
production. Proceed to Taznakht before arriving at Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
celebrated for its stunning ancient kasbah. Explore this picturesque village and enjoy lunch here. In
the afternoon, visit the Atlas Film Studios in Ouarzazate, the filmmaking hub of Morocco. Conclude
your day with dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel in Ouarzazate.
After breakfast, depart for the Todra Gorges via the scenic Skoura Oasis, passing through ancient
kasbahs, lush palm groves, and small farms. Continue along the Kela’a M’gouna, known as the Valley
of the Roses, famous for its rose-based cosmetics, and the Dades Valley. Enjoy lunch in the Todra
Gorges before heading to Merzouga. Experience a one-hour camel ride through the Erg Chebbi
dunes, the largest and most pristine dune field in the Moroccan Sahara. Witness the breathtaking
sunset over the dunes, savor tea and dinner, and spend the night in a traditional Berber camp.
Wake up early to marvel at the sunrise over the dunes, with its dramatic light and shadows. After a
camel ride back to Merzouga, enjoy a refreshing shower and breakfast. Drive through the Draa
Valley, known for its kasbahs, palm groves, and farms. Pass through Rissani, the ancestral home of
Morocco's royal dynasty, as well as Alnif and Tazzarine. Stop in N’Qob for lunch, then continue to
Tanasikht on an ancient caravan route through the Draa Valley. Arrive in Agdz in the late afternoon
for dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel.
After breakfast, head north to Taznakht, famous for its Berber carpets. Cross the Tizi-n-Ikhsane and
Tizi-n-Tighatine passes, enjoying the scenic drive. Have lunch in Taliouine, then continue through
Taroudant to return to Agadir by late afternoon.
